All three band members, Ishmael Barunga, Ashton Nandoo and Richard Taylor are veterans of the Derby West Kimberley music scene. But it was only a few years ago that they decided to start Loaded Dice and record an album of the songs they had written over the last decade.

The album begins its journey with a hard hitting story of a weary Kimberley traveler, lost in a foreign town, who cries out "I wanna go to paradise". Its followed with a dedication to their friend and family member, former guitarist Gurdijie. The third song takes you through a dream-like drive across both a familiar and foreign landscape, fueled by a desire to keep moving.

The remainder of the album is hard-out party vibes, written for the Derby dancefloor that can be heard pumping through the Backstreets, out at Mowanjum, and at The Boab, Sporties and the Civic Centre.. the very well-frequented musical playgrounds in this music-rich landscape!

Loaded Dice bring true Kimberley story telling with a loud reminder that they're here to party.
