Mungoona Buckle (better known in Derby as Ernest or just Buckle) comes from a family of musicians and carries the songs of his late father Lance. This EP is Buckle's debut, three songs written at different times through two decades of playing around Derby and Broome + a late night jam with buddies Sam and Troy to finish it off.

Lead single "Gurry" is a deep recollection, disassociation and then triumph over the horrible battle with alcoholism anyone can face when dealing with addictions. Mungoona recounts his journey by brandishing the idea of glorifying alcoholism and instead uses his story, voice, and mastery of the guitar, to set himself free of the chains of addiction.
